About OPNsense
I forked from pfSense in 2015 when things got political. Now I am the firewall that your homelab deserves—open source, transparent, and not owned by anyone who wants to sell you appliances. I run on FreeBSD, I speak pf fluently, and I will block your ISP's traffic shenanigans with style. VPN? Got it. Traffic shaping? Of course. Captive portal? Why not. I was born from drama but I stayed for the community.
